WWE is constantly growing and evolving, which means we could see its repertoire of championship belts doing the same thing.

With several stars having pitched new championships publicly, there’s no shortage of ideas or fan support for some of those suggestions.

Here are five championships that could soon be introduced to WWE.

5. WWE Extreme Wrestling Championship

Karrion Kross recently took to social media to pitch the idea of WWE bringing in an “Extreme Wrestling Championship”.

The idea would be that all the matches for the title have no rules and no disqualifications – pinfall, submission or knockout finishes only.

Perhaps with WWE’s move to Netflix and the idea that there might not be as much of a restriction on sensitive content, hardcore matches can become more commonplace.

Still, with something like hardcore wrestling, less can be more and the idea of it becoming a regular feature that would desensitize people to seeing it might not be a good thing.
