6 Former WWE Stars To Return To The Company

WWE has become known as of late for executing great surprise returns leading fans to wonder what other former stars could make a comeback.

From some that are heavily rumored to others that haven’t been discussed at all – there are plenty of WWE stars who it would be great to see back.

Here are six former WWE stars who could return to the company.

6. Billy Gunn

WWE fans will notice that when DX reunites on screen, they continue to be one man down as Billy Gunn is currently contracted with AEW.

However, Gunn recently was confirmed to be included in DLC for WWE 2K25 – and while that doesn’t mean he’s returning – it is at least an indication that he isn’t completely ostracized from WWE.

While his exact AEW contract details aren’t known he has previously stated he has two separate contracts – one as a coach/trainer and one as a talent.

Now that his run as part of The Acclaimed has come to an end, Gunn returning to WWE seems more of a possibility than ever.
