Coming over from All Elite Wrestling after a near-five year stint, Ricky Starks recently signed with WWE and underwent a name change.
Now Ricky Saints has become one of the hottest new stars on the NXT brand, but he could be just the start of some other name changes in WWE.
From established stars needing a fresh start to younger talent who want a change, there are some names that can be shifted or adjusted to further cement themselves.
Here are six potential WWE star name changes that might just happen.
6. Chad Gable (El Chadador)
On the March 10 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix, Chad Gable returned to the company after exploring the dark arts of lucha libre.
Helping The New Day defeat The LWO, Gable wore a red, white and blue American Made mask, but a backstage segment revealed that the masked man’s identity is not guaranteed to be the former Olympian.
To further this Owen Hart being the Blue Blazer act, the masked man could go by the name of “El Chadador” and further separate the two personas.
This could become one of the most entertaining split identity storylines to be seen in WWE in many years, so this name change would just further the possibilities.
