2024 was not the best year for tag team wrestling in WWE, with a lack of creative investment and PLE opportunities being given to the teams on Raw and SmackDown.
However, with both the blue and red brands gaining an extra hour of TV time in the new year things seem to be pivoting in a more positive direction, potentially opening the door for new teams to debut and old teams to reform.
Here are six WWE tag teams to reunite soon.
6. AJ Styles & Omos
After his impressive stint in Pro Wrestling NOAH, fans are eager to see how Omos fares back in WWE this time around.
While a Royal Rumble return was anticipated by many fans this did not come to pass, but there’s still plenty of time for the company to reintroduce the Nigerian Giant on TV between now and WrestleMania.
One potential option is to reunite Omos with his former WWE tag team partner AJ Styles, with The Phenomenal One also now back on TV following an injury absence.
As seen above, Styles and Omos were pictured chatting backstage at the Rumble in Indianapolis, and while this obviously doesn’t mean an on-screen reunion is coming also it did serve as a reminder of the pairing the two had many years ago, something that could potentially be revisited in 2025.
