On the March 14 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE aired a mysterious vignette that sparked a lot of intrigue among the fanbase.

The most consistent prevailing thought is that this could be WWE’s first video to hype the return of former AEW star Malakai Black.

Returning to his Aleister Black persona, the company could bring back the former NXT Champion in a faction in a similar fashion to his presentation in All Elite Wrestling as the leader of the House of Black.

Here are seven WWE stars to potentially join a new Aleister Black faction.

7. Karrion Kross

Looking at the current landscape of the main roster, there might not be another WWE star who fits the billing for Aleister Black’s presentation quite like Karrion Kross.

The former two-time NXT Champion has found himself without backup for the first time in a long while after the recent releases of Paul Ellering and The Authors of Pain.

Kross has taken on a role of a manipulator and devil’s advocate style character who gets under the skin and into the minds of his fellow WWE stars.

Joining forces with Black in a new faction could be a further progression to get Kross back involved in major storylines on WWE TV.
