While several former AEW stars have flipped over to WWE recently, including Ricky Saints and Penta, there are also some WWE stars who could go to AEW.
With some looking for a reinvigoration to their careers and others who may be seeking control over their last chapter, there are numerous potential names who might make the switch.
Here are seven WWE stars that could leave the company and join AEW.
7. Shinsuke Nakamura
After Shinsuke Nakamura recently dropped the United States Championship to LA Knight, his position and standing in WWE came into question.
While it might not be happening imminently, it isn’t beyond the realms of comprehension to think Nakamura could explore outside options.
Perhaps the lighter AEW schedule would be interesting as he moves into the next phase of his career.
It could also open the door to working with some of the other Japanese legends who regularly show up in AEW.
