7 WWE Stars To Undergo Name Changes

WWE has kicked off their new season following WrestleMania 41 with several significant changes to storylines and their main brands.

With stars returning, debuting and beginning new feuds, there could be even more shifts that take place, including some persona changes for several talent.

A name change is a time tested way to revitalise a star and bring new life to their characters or give them a fresh start moving forward in the company.

Ahead of the first SmackDown following Mania, here are seven WWE stars to potentially undergo name changes.

7. Zelina Vega – Zelina Black

On the April 25 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, the dark and mysterious figure behind the recent vignettes that have been airing is expected to be revealed.

Many fans and reports have indicated that this figure will be revealed to be former AEW star Aleister Black making his return to WWE.

Black will join his wife Zelina Vega on the blue brand, with many fans making the argument that the married couple should be paired up together on WWE TV.

To further establish this new on-screen partnership, Zelina could have her surname changed to her husband’s name of Black to cement their relationship within the promotion.
