Danhausen remains mysteriously absent from AEW, having no actual matches since December 2023 and only making a one-off appearance in ROH in December 2024.
While the absence is curious – given that he is such a merchandise mover and fan favorite – it seems at this point perhaps some fans are actually waiting for WWE to call him off the bench.
The “Very Nice, Very Evil” star would be a great fit in NXT and could easily be a delightful thorn in Ricky Saints’ side for the foreseeable future, foiling the NXT North American Champion at every turn.
Danhausen remains in in-ring action for independent promotions across the globe in his time away from AEW, giving WWE ample opportunity to take notice.
