7. Davey Boy Smith Jr.
Not long after capturing the AJPW Triple Crown Championship for the first time, Davey Boy Smith Jr. (aka Harry Smith) revealed via an appearance on the Huge Pop! podcast that he was still interested in having another WWE run.
Despite achieving great success outside WWE, Smith never reached great heights across two runs in the company.
His second run in 2021 was so brief in fact that you’d be forgiven for not knowing it even happened. As a result, Smith said he’d like to show his former employer what he is capable of, so hopefully he gets that opportunity at some point.
With his AJPW contract set to expire in January perhaps this could happen, and at 39-years-old Smith still has plenty time to realise that unfulfilled potential.
