On May 2, WWE had its latest slate of talent cuts with 16 different stars being released, including former Universal Champion Braun Strowman.
“The Monster Among Men” has been a consistently featured star on the SmackDown brand before his subsequent release.
Considering his longstanding rivalry with Jacob Fatu, WWE could have always revisited this feud with “The Samoan Werewolf” now holding the United States Championship.
With Fatu set to defend the US Title against LA Knight, Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre in a four-way match, Strowman could be brought right back to the company to put over Fatu one more time.
