6 More Matches To Be Added To WWE Backlash 2025

On May 10, the first post-WrestleMania PLE, WWE Backlash, will take place.

The first match has already been confirmed: Randy Orton will challenge John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Title in Orton’s hometown of St Louis.

With new feuds emerging, returning stars debuting on the post-Mania Raw and SmackDown, and fresh storylines unfolding, the full card is sure to come together quickly over the next two weeks.

Here are six matches we could see added to the Backlash line-up.

6. Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Nia Jax – WWE Women’s Championship

At WrestleMania, Tiffany Stratton defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair in arguably the most heated bout of the entire weekend.

However, it appears she has unfinished business with former champion and mentor, Nia Jax.

Jax made her return on SmackDown by interfering in Stratton’s match with Jade Cargill, hitting the A-Nia-Lator on Stratton and holding up the title.

Feeling robbed after Stratton’s title cash-in, Jax now looks set to face her former protégé at Backlash.
