5. Cody Rhodes Returns To Confront John Cena
Another potential return could see “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes make his first appearance on WWE television since WrestleMania 41.
At The Show of Shows, John Cena defeated Rhodes to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event.
With his win, Cena won his record-breaking 17th world championship and will now defend against his career rival Randy Orton in Orton’s hometown of St. Louis at WWE Backlash 2025.
The event could see Cody return to cost Cena the title and help his longtime mentor win the 15th world title of his legendary career in front of his family and friends.
