A current WWE champion missing WrestleMania 41, the latest update on the status of Randy Orton, and a new signing joining the company.
Here’s the latest news to get you up to speed during WrestleMania week.
Randy Orton WWE WrestleMania 41 Update
Randy Orton was planned for a match against Kevin Owens at WWE WrestleMania 41, but Owens had to be pulled from the show to requiring neck surgery.
That has left Orton without an opponent for the time being, although on the latest episode of SmackDown, both Nick Aldis and Solo Sikoa were teased as potential new opponents.
In another update, Orton himself has commented on what he hopes to be doing at WrestleMania.
Speaking in a new interview with Complex, a humble Orton said that he didn’t want to sound cocky, but does hope that the star power he’s built over the years means he can at least still feature on the show in some way, at least to hit an RKO.
Orton said he’s “hopeful” that something can be put together in the next week that makes sense and fans can get invested in.
