With the Royal Rumble 2026 in Riyadh fast approaching, it will be time for WrestleMania 42 title bouts to be confirmed in the near future.

While the Royal Rumble winners will end up determining at least two of the championship matches set for Las Vegas, there are certainly going to be more titles on the line at WWE WrestleMania 42.

Here are seven WWE Championship matches for WrestleMania 42

7. AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch (c) for WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship

In one feud that seems likely to come back around again, it would make sense to see Becky Lynch take up a major challenger at WrestleMania 42.

Potentially coming back to shoot her shot at Lynch and the IC title, it might be recent enemy AJ Lee that could be the one to dethrone Becky Lynch in Las Vegas.

With their rivalry certainly not over, there could end up being a third or even fourth addition to this match as well depending on how the storyline plays out.

Able to easily add the likes of Roxanne Perez, Bayley, Maxxine Dupri or Nattie (in either iteration) — this match could be a total show stealer.
