WWE Dominik Mysterio AAA Replacement

On the February 21 edition of WWE AAA on FOX, AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio and El Hijo del Vikingo signed the contract for their title match for the upcoming Rey de Reyes event on March 14.

Setting the terms for this bout, Mysterio stated that Vikingo will never get another shot at the AAA Mega Championship if the champion retains, while Vikingo stated that ‘Dirty Dom’ must leave Lucha Libre AAA if he loses.

Now with these stipulations added, it begs the question who WWE might choose to replace Mysterio if he does in fact loses the title on March 14 in Puebla.

Here are seven potential WWE Dominik Mysterio AAA replacements.

7. Ethan Page

In 2025, Ethan Page started to appear in Lucha Libre AAA, including capturing the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship alongside Chelsea Green.

On the February 28 episode of AAA on FOX, ‘All Ego’ will compete in a Rey de Reyes four-way qualifying match against El Hijo De Dr Wagner Jr, Omos and Pimpinela Escarlata.

If Dominik Mysterio is leaving the company, it might be best for someone with experience in the promotion to easily transition into his position.

While he remains a big part of WWE NXT, AAA would benefit from having Page move up the card and become a potential replacement for ‘Dirty Dom’ if he loses at Rey de Reyes.
