WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 Preview: Start Time, How To Watch, Match Card, Predictions

Andrade (c) vs. Humberto Carrillo – United States Championship

Just like they did at TLC in 2019 and the Royal Rumble at the beginning of this year, Andrade and Humberto Carrillo will go one-on-one at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

There is no denying that the two have decent in-ring chemistry. However, their story has not been interesting or engaging enough for the crowd to get properly into their matches.

Prediction: Humberto Carrillo

This is a pretty hard one to predict, but I think that Humberto Carrillo will be winning the United States Championship here from Andrade.

Carrillo has often come up short against Andrade, and I think that WWE can’t continue to book him to lose important title matches. Perhaps Angel Garza and Zelina Vega will accidentally cost Andrade the match, allowing Carrillo to pick up the win.

One of the main reasons I have also gone with Carrillo for this one is that a report emerged last month suggesting Andrade’s days as US Champion are numbered, so don’t be too surprised if he drops the title at Elimination Chamber.

Daniel Bryan vs. Drew Gulak

The latest match to be confirmed for Elimination Chamber is Daniel Bryan vs. Drew Gulak.

Over the last few weeks on SmackDown, Gulak has claimed to know Bryan’s weaknesses and aimed to teach others how to beat him. Both Heath Slater and Curtis Axel have failed in that regard.

On Friday’s episode of SmackDown, Drake Maverick requested a match against Bryan, but was refused, with Bryan instead challenging Gulak to a match on Sunday, which was later accepted.

Prediction: Daniel Bryan

It would be extremely surprising to see WWE give Gulak a win over Bryan here. It just seems like a way to keep Bryan hot(ish) heading into WrestleMania.

With that said, hopefully WWE does give these men the time an freedom to do what they are capable of, and not just a six minute pre-show match.

With Bryan involved, there is hope that that could be the case.

Street Profits (c) vs. Seth Rollins & Murphy – Raw Tag Team Championship

On the go-home episode of Monday Night Raw earlier this week, The Street Profits managed to defeat Seth Rollins & Murphy to capture the Raw Tag Team Championships.

Although automatic rematch clauses are supposedly a thing of the past, Seth Rollins revealed backstage after the match that he and Murphy will face the new champions at the pay-per-view on Sunday night.

Prediction: The Street Profits

Fresh off winning the titles this week, I see Street Profits defeating Rollins and Murphy in what has the potential to be one of the better matches of the night.

Street Profits are incredibly over, and it would be incredibly stupid to have them drop the titles here. I see a WrestleMania match with The AOP for the titles in their futures.

Seth Rollins is clearly going to be going one-on-one with Kevin Owens at WrestleMania, so perhaps KO will confront Rollins after the match here to make their ‘Mania clash official.
