6. Former WWE NXT Star Steph De Lander
If you’re talking about Matt Cardona returning to WWE, you kinda have to bring up his partner in crime Steph De Lander.
Since her WWE release in 2022, the Aussie star has taken the Indies by storm, finding her stride in a big way once beginning to partner with Cardona in GCW and recently TNA Wrestling.
Given TNA’s ongoing partnership with De Lander’s former home of WWE NXT a return seems feasible, and hopefully like Cardona she would return as Steph De Lander and not her WWE NXT name Persia Pirotta.
De Lander is technically a free agent despite her work in TNA, and would be available to WWE should they be interested in securing her long-term.
