Starting with a potential change to a planned match at WWE SummerSlam…
6) Potential Change To WWE SummerSlam
At WWE Money In The Bank in Toronto, Sami Zayn made the latest defence of his Intercontinental Championship, defending against Bron Breakker.
In the weeks since, Sami and Bron have been setting up a rematch for the title, with Ilja Dragunov also getting involved in the situation, including a disqualification finish on this week’s Raw show.
Dragunov’s involvement in the story has led to many believing that the match at SummerSlam will become a Triple Threat match also featuring Dragunov, but that reportedly will not be the case.
Dave Meltzer provided an update on Wrestling Observer Radio, noting that WWE was still planning a singles match between Zayn and Breakker at SummerSlam for the title.
