WWE Replacement For Jacob Fatu

On the October 17 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Jacob Fatu is scheduled to face Drew McIntyre in a singles match.

However, this bout has been put into question following a recent report that revealed Fatu was expected to miss the rest of 2025 with a non-wrestling related injury.

If ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ is in fact out of action, WWE has to consider who they can put in his place to get a similar push on the card.

Here are seven potential WWE replacements for Jacob Fatu.

7. Damian Priest

Since the start of 2025, Damian Priest has made the move from Monday Night Raw to Friday Night SmackDown.

Earlier this year, Priest looked to be on a collision course with Jacob Fatu for the United States Championship.

However, Fatu being out of action could lead to Priest coming in his place to fill the spot reserved for him over the next few months.

Priest getting an increased boost in TV time and positioning on the card could see him becoming one of the most prominently featured stars on the WWE SmackDown roster.
