The Rock remains central to WWE storylines, and he may be looking to recruit his own group to rule in his absence.
The Rock himself only appears rarely, but if he has a group outright doing his bidding, it might make it a lot easier to thread his appearances and stories together.
Here are six stars that could join The Rock in a new WWE faction.
6. Drew McIntyre
The storylines in WWE often overlap, and despite truly hating the Bloodline, Drew McIntyre has a great relationship with The Rock.
After an interaction between the pair backstage at the WWE Raw on Netflix debut episode got a lot of attention, McIntyre has since recalled the pair had a positive check-in backstage at Elimination Chamber.
With McIntyre starring in a new ad campaign for Johnson’s Project Rock line for Under Armour, the partnership doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon.
McIntyre would be the perfect recruit for The Rock to snag for a new faction since he continues to demonstrate his propensity for violence and facetiousness – just like The Final Boss.
