In 2024, WWE brought back one of the premier tournaments in pro wrestling history with the King of the Ring tournament.

After GUNTHER was crowned the King of the Ring, it felt like this staple of the company had made a permanent return.

Despite the tournament and event has not been announced for this year, it needs to be part of WWE’s plans for 2025 because of the huge opportunity it presents for the roster to be elevated with a victory.

Here are nine potential WWE King of the Ring 2025 winners.

9. Aleister Black

On the April 25 SmackDown After WrestleMania 41, Aleister Black made his return to the company for the first time since 2021 by laying out The Miz with The Black Mass.

Following his successful in-ring return with a win over The Miz on the May 2 episode, it looks like Black should be in line for big things with this latest comeback to the promotion.

Returning to a WWE now led by Triple H as head of creative, Black should be in a considerably better position and garner a much better push than he had under Vince McMahon.

Winning the WWE King of the Ring 2025 tournament would give Black his biggest win in the company yet and immediately thrust him into the spotlight.
