Since the inception of AEW, the company has signed numerous WWE legends that have been crucial to their growth and evolution.
Whether it be in-ring competitors like Chris Jericho and Bryan Danielson or non-wrestlers like Jim Ross, this has helped shape AEW into what it is today.
Looking at the current unsigned talent and legends around the wrestling world, there are even more former WWE names who could potentially arrive in the promotion in the near future.
Here are eight WWE legends to potentially sign with AEW.
8. Gangrel
Gangrel is a WWE legend who has been seen on AEW television in the past.
Appearing at AEW Double Or Nothing 2024, Gangrel helped out his former Brood stablemate Adam Copeland in his Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match against Malakai Black for the TNT Championship.
The former WWE star has continued to compete on the independent scene for promotions, such as BRCW and OPW across the past two years since.
While not as an active in-ring competitor, there are several different roles that Gangrel could play on-screen for All Elite Wrestling when the time is right.
