Seth Rollins (c) vs. Kevin Owens
WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins has quickly become a mainstay on this list. With his ongoing open challenge for the title, that isn’t likely to change anytime soon either. This week was no different as he welcomed Kevin Owens to try his luck.
Easily the best match of the show – I know, with the guys involved, it was going to be – Rollins and Owens put on a great bout which included a suicide dive catch by the ‘Prizefighter’ and later a Falcon Arrow onto the ring apron by the ‘Kingslayer’.
With every open challenge, it’s almost a certainty that the titleholder will retain, especially in the early stages, but Rollins does have a knack for making you forget.
