# WWE Men’s Royal Rumble 2019 Match Stats

This past Sunday saw the 2019 editions of the men’s and women’s **WWE Royal Rumble** matches and they were cracking. Now, as I love me some stats and fancy something a little snazzier than Wikipedia, I’ve decided to make two lovely lists, one for the men and one for the women, with pictures and podium positions for all.

So with that said, I’ve already posted the women’s match list so let’s get on with the men’s match, shall we?

### Your 2019 Men’s Royal Rumble Match Winner

#### 1st Place – Seth Rollins

Although Rollins is the clear choice for the winner and will deservedly go on to dethrone Brock Lesnar at **WrestleMania** for the **WWE** Universal Championship, I do wish they had made a star out of this **Royal Rumble**. It’s a chance stipulation, Rollins could walk into that match with Brock. Why not let someone like Ali or Andrade win or even an **NXT** call-up like Aleister Black?

#### 2nd Place – Braun Strowman

The ship has sailed and Braun is lying inside it, waiting for some Vikings to shoot it with a flaming arrow.

#### 3rd Place – Dolph Ziggler

This should’ve been Andrade.

### Most Eliminations or The Kane/Roman/Braun/Michelle McCool Award

#### 1st Place – Braun Strowman

Eliminations – Five

Again, give it to someone who can use it. The record isn’t being broken, why couldn’t someone like Pete Dunne get the most eliminations.

Braun Strowman’s eliminations – Andrade, Shelton Benjamin, Baron Corbin, Jeff Hardy, & Dolph Ziggler

#### 2nd Place – Drew McIntyre

Eliminations – Four

Definitely should have had the most.

Drew McIntyre’s eliminations – Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Pete Dunne, & Jeff Hardy

#### 3rd Place – Seth Rollins & Samoa Joe

Eliminations – Three

Rollins won the thing but Joe could have also done with getting the most eliminations.

Seth Rollins’ eliminations – Elias, Bobby Lashley, & Braun Strowman

Samoa Joe’s eliminations – Big E, Curt Hawkins, & No Way Jose

### The Ironman Award

#### 1st Place – Seth Rollins

Time: 43:26

Again, Rollins won the damn match, give this to Ali or Andrade.

#### 2nd Place – Mustafa Ali

Time: 30:00

Should have won but a solid showing nonetheless.

#### 3rd Place – Samoa Joe

Time: 23:43

Another solid showing from someone who should have been given just a little more.

### The Opposite of the Ironman Award

#### 1st Place – No Way Jose

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/no-way-jose.jpg)

Time: 00:02

Leave **WWE**.

#### 2nd Place – Xavier Woods

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2018/09/Woods.jpg)

Time: 00:03

I really disagree with this as Woods is the most marketable member of the New Day with his **YouTube** channel UpUpDownDown being a huge hit. I don’t understand why he hasn’t been given at least a US Title run. Three seconds is a disgrace.

#### 3rd Place – Titus O’Neil

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2018/09/Titus_ONeil_bio-239f0fd53f07e119da7114929d40b377.jpg)

Time 00:05

Titus had his Titus World Slide moment and was swiftly sent to the back. Sounds about right to me.

### Most Royal Rumble Matches in a Single Event

#### 1st Place – Nia Jax

I know that this was a controversial spot for Nia to enter the men’s Royal Rumble and get Superkicked, 619’d, and RKO’d but it was one of the best moments all night and that is saying something.

#### 2nd Place – Literally Everyone Else
