More WWE Stars To Undergo Name Changes

Over the past few months, various WWE stars have underwent name changes to differentiate their presentation moving forward.

On the June 10 edition of WWE NXT, former AEW star Mariah May became the latest high profile talent to sign with WWE and debut under a new name, that being Blake Monroe.

Here are six more WWE stars to potentially undergo name changes soon.

6. Zelina Vega – Zelina

2025 has been a very successful year for Zelina Vega, capturing the Women’s United States Championship in late April.

Enjoying her first singles title reign in WWE, Vega has picked up a long series of wins against the likes of Chelsea Green, Piper Niven and Alba Fyre.

On the June 6 edition of Friday Night SmackDown however, Vega was confronted for the second time in recent weeks by Giulia, with WWE’s graphic for Vega reading just ‘Zelina’.

While this could have just been a mistake, it may indicate that Vega will become known by just her first name instead of her full name, that she has been recognised as since debuting in WWE.
