With Money in the Bank now in the books, WWE’s next Premium Live Event is already on the near horizon.
Night of Champions takes place on June 28, live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
While the finals of both the men’s and women’s King of the Ring tournaments have already been confirmed, the rest of the card, set to be made up of title matches, is yet to be announced.
Here are the bouts we could see added to WWE Night of Champions.
6. John Cena vs. R-Truth
R-Truth’s shocking return in the main event of Money in the Bank suggests WWE tore up their original plans.
The biggest takeaway from the show’s conclusion was not Cody Rhodes pinning John Cena to set up their rematch, but R-Truth reappearing and costing Cena the tag bout.
Despite their recent one-sided bout at Saturday Night’s Main Event, a more serious version of Truth, as Ron Killings, now looks like a potential contender for Cena’s Undisputed WWE Title.
While not confirmed, a rematch between the two – this time with the title on the line – at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia appears a genuine possibility.
