With WWE NXT continuing a hot streak of programming, there are certainly set to be changes as the reportedly still planned 2025 WWE Draft approaches.
With some stars likely to depart for the main roster to others that will have a new opportunity to step up, it is an exciting time of change for NXT.
Here are eight potential changes coming to WWE NXT on the CW Network.
8. On-Screen Return Of William Regal
While William Regal has made periodic appearances on NXT since returning to WWE, he hasn’t become a consistent presence.
With the ability to tell some intriguing father/son storylines with Charlie Dempsey, as well as having conflict with current General Manager Ava over their perspectives on the industry, Regal could be used as a powerful catalyst for some more emotional stories in NXT.
If nothing else, it would be great to see Regal on-screen more with his son Dempsey, who seems to be potentially poised to break away from the current No Quarter Catch Crew configuration.
Few WWE personalities have as much respect from the fandom as William Regal – a power that could come in handy in NXT at some point as an on-screen authority figure.
