Another Japan-based star with an expiring contract is NJPW’s Kevin Knight, according to a recent report from Fightful Select.
Knight and NJPW are said to be in active negotiations, but as of right now there’s no confirmation regarding his future.
With recent ringing endorsements from the likes of Mark Henry and Natalya, Knight seems to be a star on the rise and very well could end up in either WWE or AEW should he exit NJPW.
A move to NXT would give the brand a promising young star to build around, with a high ceiling as a singles or tag team star.
