7. Jose The Assistant
Moving on to one of Matt Hardy’s old AEW cohorts now, and Jose The Assistant may not be at the top of many fans’ WWE wish-lists, however there has been some murmurings of a potential WWE move recently.
That’s because Jose was spotted backstage at SmackDown on August 16 alongside his old AEW client Andrade.
While this is likely nothing, there is potentially room for Jose in AEW whether as an in-ring talent or back at the side of another WWE star.
Andrade is obviously the leading candidate due to their established relationship, however, WWE may instead opt to do what they’ve done with many other ex-AEW stars and start Jose off in NXT first.
