5 Surprises At WWE NXT Debut On The CW

We are only a few days away from WWE NXT’s debut on The CW.

It is a huge move for the brand as they said goodbye to the USA Network this past Tuesday.

With new shores ahead, Shawn Michaels and WWE are looking to make a huge splash in their new home.

This already involves Giulia having her first title match in WWE, CM Punk being the special guest referee for the NXT Championship match, and an episode of Miz TV.

On top of that, the show is not going to air from the WWE Performance Center, instead, it is emanating from the Allstate Arena in Illinois.

But what else could go down at this historic show? Here are five potential surprises that could be lined up.

5. R-Truth Appears

The Miz is going to host an episode of Miz TV with NXT North American Champion Oba Femi and Tony D’Angelo.

This could also be where we see R-Truth make his return to WWE TV – he could mistake The CW with ECW, or think he is on Raw with The Miz.

Whatever R-Truth does, it obviously ain’t gonna last long with Oba Femi close by.

But it might be the chuckle that Tony D’ Angelo needs to drop his fear about facing Femi, setting him up nicely for their match the following week.
