WWE/TNA Wrestling
On Tuesday, October 7, WWE will present their latest special episode of NXT with Showdown where stars from the brand will do battle with TNA Wrestling talent.
Mere hours away from the show, there are several changes that could take place and alter how the evening turns out.
WWE NXT vs. TNA Showdown presents both companies with a great opportunity to shake things up with several adjustments ahead of and throughout the night.
Here are six potential changes to WWE NXT vs. TNA Showdown.
6. Blake Monroe gets revenge on Jordynne Grace

At WWE NXT No Mercy 2025, Jordynne Grace defeated Blake Monroe to win the Weaponized Steel Cage Match.
Then on the September 30 edition of WWE NXT, Grace expressed her desire to be part of Team TNA for the Women’s Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match on the October 7 show.
However, Grace’s status on the WWE NXT roster and history in TNA made both sides not trust her enough to be on either team for the Showdown special.
With NXT GM Ava announcing that Grace will be the special guest referee for the Survivor Series Elimination Match on the show, Monroe could get some revenge by taking out “The Juggernaut” ahead of the bout and taking her place.
