For the Wrestlers
The time away from the ring would help the wrestler recover their body, give them a break from their strenuous work schedules as well as help heal up any nagging injuries. Right now, the WWE has been hit by its worse luck when it comes to injuries. With a good hearty chunk of their roster sitting on the sidelines. Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Fandango, and Braun Strowman to name but a few.
I’m not saying a couple weeks off is the magic cure for all injuries, and that they will never happen again. But with the athletic commitment and torture these guys put their bodies through day-in and day-out, it’s going to take its toll, and eventually, the fatigue will catch up. It wouldn’t just be for the physical state of their body, but also for their minds. Giving them well deserved down time to relax and be at home with their loved ones and actual family, not just the boys and girls they see on the road every day, can do more for the body than any spa treatment or relaxing yoga class.
