On May 22, WWE shocked many within the wrestling industry, announcing that they were pulling WrestleMania 42 from New Orleans following the announcement of the location back in February.
This will be one of the latest reveals of a location for Mania in recent memory, but it has made most fans start thinking about what they might see come next April.
From which top stars will be in headline matches to how most of the titles will shape out, this card should look very interesting as the calendar turns from 2025 to 2026.
Here are our predictions for the card for WWE WrestleMania 42.
Roman Reigns vs. Bron Breakker (w/Paul Heyman)
When The Rock made the announcement for WWE WrestleMania 42 taking place in New Orleans, many fans believed there was a possibility that “The Final Boss” could compete inside the squared circle at the event.
Following the show being pulled from NOLA, that possibility becomes less likely, making it clear that Roman Reigns may need another option for an opponent.
After his alliance with Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman as well as being involved in the beatdown on Reigns on the April 21 WWE Raw After WrestleMania 41, fans could see Bron Breakker step up to the plate to face “The OTC” on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”
Breakker facing Reigns would be quite easily the biggest match of his young career and could be a passing of the torch moment from the current face of WWE to the next big thing.
