On the June 6 edition of SmackDown, Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce announced the return of the WWE King & Queen of the Ring tournaments – with the finals taking place at Night of Champions 2025 on June 28.
With 16 stars set to do battle in this year’s tournament, the Queen of the Ring will be closely watched for the fans to see which talent will earn a shot at one of the top women’s titles in the company.
After Nia Jax used her win in 2024 to capture the WWE Women’s Championship, there is a strong argument that winning this tournament could shift the direction of the entire women’s scene across Raw and SmackDown.
Here are eight potential WWE Queen of the Ring 2025 winners.
8. Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair has earned the reputation of a bonafide living legend who is the most decorated WWE female star of all time.
“The Queen” may have sat at the throne atop of the WWE women’s division for over a decade now, but she’s yet to officially receive the crown.
After losing to Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41, Flair needs a significant win to propel herself back to the top again.
Charlotte could cement herself as what she has always been known as with a Queen of the Ring win, while also earning another crack at the top prize in the SmackDown women’s division.
