3. Former AEW Star Had Talks With WWE

Former AEW star Mike Santana made his return to TNA back at the Rebellion pay-per-view event in April.

Santana had left AEW earlier this year, and in a new interview with Cultaholic, Santana confirmed that he had talks with WWE prior to signing with TNA.

He said:

“It was mainly [a feeling out]. There were conversations. It was nothing concrete, just seeing where both of our heads were at and seeing how things go. Every conversation that I had was great.”
