Over the past few weeks, Randy Orton has been kept off television, which has led many to question what is next for the 14-time WWE World Champion.
‘The Legend Killer’ has become known for his heel runs more than his time as a babyface due to his ability to portray a sinister villain.
After teasing a heel turn for the past year, it feels like the right time for WWE to pull the trigger on Orton going bad once again.
Here are eight potential Randy Orton WWE heel turn plans.
8. Betraying Cody Rhodes & Going After Undisputed WWE Championship

Over the past two years, Cody Rhodes has found backup against many of his challengers for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the form of Randy Orton.
Orton has long been a mentor to Rhodes during their time together in the Legacy stable more than a decade ago, but now they are more equals than ever before.
However, there have been several teases that Orton will eventually turn on Rhodes, including during their King of the Ring Final at WWE Night of Champions 2025.
Orton betraying Rhodes seems the most logical direction for the company to go with a heel turn that sets up a high profile Undisputed WWE Championship match later this year.
