McInDolph dominated The B Team to retain in this tag title rematch but it was all a setup to Rollins and Ambrose running in post-match for a surprise attack – which Corbin was furious with backstage, saying he’d banned the Shield from Raw! For The Shield to point out they’re not the Shield, they’re just Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Because technicalities are badass!

Further building on the Shield’s Expert Hounds in Justice gimmick, Seth then introduced the local Sheriff and accused Corbin of falsifying a police report. Because when he’s not burning it down and having the body of a Crossfit Jesus, Rollins likes to kick back, relax and learn all the law.

Afterwards, Ambrose asked the Sheriff if he could ring him next time he gets arrested – which was funny, but hopefully just a one-off to protect Dean’s newly serious character.

Hell In A Cell Recap

Video package number four! Only this one was a recap of the incredible Mankind vs Undertaker Hell in a Cell match. So that get’s a free pass.

Kevin Owens vs Tyler Breeze

But then it’s hot into video package number five! Of Kevin Owens returning last week to attack Bobby Lashley. At least KO actually had a decent explanation here, revealing that Corbin begged him to come back, to which Owens only agreed if he’s not responsible for what he does to his opponents. One Pop-Up Powerbomb to Tyler Breeze later, and hopefully Owens is transitioning to his violent Prizefighter gimmick from NXT.

Bobby Roode & Chad Gable beat The Ascension

While I’m enjoying Bobby Roode and Chad Gable’s new team, this is exactly what happened last week, with them beating The Ascension.
