After Corey Graves suffered the attack at the hands of Brock Lesnar on the September 19 edition of SmackDown, he had a speedy replacement.

The Miz joined Michael Cole on commentary for the remainder of the show and was well received.

Perhaps marking a pivot for the longtime WWE star, his recent track record has contained more hosting gigs than in-ring competition.

Recently returning to WWE action from a stint hosting the first two seasons of the yet to air American Gladiators reboot, The Miz could end up a great addition to WWE commentary.
