According to reports, WWE stars Karrion Kross and Scarlett have not been offered new WWE contracts paving the way for a departure this weekend.
In terms of both menacing on-screen presence and worthy of organic fan support, Kross could leave behind a gap to be filled in the hearts of fans by another oft overlooked star.
Here are seven WWE stars that could replace Karrion Kross should he not end up re-signing with the company.
7. Carmelo Hayes
A fan favorite in NXT, Carmelo Hayes has found himself a bit directionless since being called up to the main roster.
That isn’t to say he’s been entirely lost in the shuffle – continuing to have matches on TV and appearing in backstage segments – similarly to Kross, he doesn’t have a lot to show for it.
Certainly worthy of the groundswell of fan support afforded to Kross, Melo remains a WWE star that is seemingly just on the brink of doing something great if given the chance.
Potentially able to link back up with his former tag team partner Trick Williams if he is to be drafted to the main roster as expected – Hayes could easily find new life as a character.
