Michael Cole has earned the right to be called one of the GOATs when it comes to commentating in WWE.
With 26 years of experience behind the desk in the company, Cole has seen many announcers come and go, but he has remained with an unreal work ethic and dedication to the craft.
At 58 years old, Cole is not going to be around forever, so WWE may have to look to the other talent who could take his spot as the lead commentator on Monday Night Raw and PLEs.
Here are seven potential WWE replacements for Michael Cole.
7. Joe Tessitore
In 2024, Joe Tessitore signed with WWE and immediately took on the role of play-by-play commentator on Monday Night Raw for its final days on the USA Network.
With a well established background in sports commentary, Tessitore has shown poise and timing in everything he’s done in WWE so far.
During his time on SmackDown, Tessitore working alongside Wade Barrett has become one of WWE’s best commentary teams.
Tessitore has to be viewed as someone who could one day replace Michael Cole as lead commentator, following in his footsteps closely.
