WWE
On September 15, NXT GM Ava announced that WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton had been pulled due to injury from her scheduled six-woman tag team match at NXT Homecoming.
If Stratton is not medically cleared to compete for an extended period of time and has to relinquish her title, WWE would have to consider a possible replacement for Stratton as the champion on SmackDown.
Here are eight potential new WWE Women’s Champions if Tiffany Stratton vacates the title due to the injury.
8. Jade Cargill

On the September 12 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship went to a double countout after both women went through the barricade.
Taking the champion to the limit for a second time in a row, Cargill will feel motivated to potentially hold the gold sooner rather than later.
If Stratton is out of action following their bout, Jade has to be considered a favorite to be the next WWE Women’s Champion.
Cargill winning the gold would be the next step in her progression in WWE who have been patient with how they have elevated her up the card since signing her in 2023.
