Shawn Michaels has headed up the WWE NXT brand since taking over for Triple H following his cardiac arrest in 2021.
Since then, NXT has gone through several different changes going from the 2.0 era to the current black and silver time period.
With many fans believing Michaels will eventually make the move to help Triple H book on the WWE main roster, it wouldn’t be surprising to see someone take over his post on NXT whenever that happens.
Here are six potential WWE replacements for Shawn Michaels.
6. Matt Bloom
In 2014, Matt Bloom, formerly known as Tensai and Prince Albert, made the decision to retire from in-ring competition and became a trainer at the WWE Performance Center.
Eventually being promoted to head trainer, Bloom has been an integral part of the development of so many different talents that have gone through the PC.
With his current role as NXT head coach, it would make a lot of sense if Bloom eventually takes over Shawn Michaels’ role as Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative.
While it is unknown if Bloom could fill this role successfully, it seems like a natural transition for someone who has worked so closely with Michaels and the NXT talent to be a suitable replacement.
