Jimmy and Jey Uso now sit atop of the Raw tag team division and should stay there for some time, but there will be some contenders to their throne. Eventually, WWE will have to find some replacements for The Usos that will attempt to continue the momentum started by the duo in the coming months. Here are six potential WWE replacements for The Usos. ## 6. The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) ![](https://cdn.wrestletalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/grayson-waller-xavier-woods-kofi-kingston-new-day-jey-jimmy-the-usos-december-9-a.jpg) Ever since losing the World Tag Team Titles in June 2025, The New Day have become obsessed with the top prize for the Raw tag team division. Often seen grieving the loss of their titles, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been looking to regain some gold sooner rather than later. Despite getting their opportunities, The New Day have been unable to get their hands on the championships since then. However, The Usos are the duo that The New Day know better than anyone which should give them the edge to be the most likely replacements for Jimmy and Jey when they lose the World Tag Team Championship. ***Click the next page button below for more*** ## 5. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) ![](https://cdn.wrestletalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/finn-balor-jd-mcdonagh-judgment-day-november-4-a.jpg) When The New Day lost the World Tag Team Championship in the summer of 2025, it was to The Judgment Day. The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh are two-time champions together and have proven to be one of the best tandems in all of WWE today. However, McDonagh has been sidelined recovering from surgery over the past few weeks, leaving Balor on his own. Whenever McDonagh makes his return, fans could see a reunion with Balor and see them defeat The Usos to replace them at the top of the Raw tag team scene. ***Click the next page button below for more*** ## 4. Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) ![](https://cdn.wrestletalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/alex-shelley-chris-sabin-motor-city-machine-guns-october-19-b.jpg) Signing with WWE in October 2024, The Motor City Machine Guns instantly thrusted themselves into the spotlight in a major way. Winning the WWE Tag Team Championship in only their third match in the company, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley have shown themselves to be one of the best duos of their generation. With their excellent in-ring ability and chemistry, it is clear that the Machine Guns should always be placed in a significant role on WWE TV. However, this has not been the case as of late over on Friday Night SmackDown. The Motor City Machine Guns returning to WWE programming should see them shifted to Raw where they could have a major dream match against The Usos that might lead to their victory and becoming the new World Tag Team Champions. ***Click the next page button below for more*** ## 3. Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) ![](https://cdn.wrestletalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/angelo-dawkins-montez-ford-street-profits-april-26-a.jpg) Back in 2022, The Usos and Street Profits had a heated rivalry that saw the two duos going back and forth in some of the best tag team bouts in recent memory. While Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins came away from the feud without the tag team gold, Street Profits eventually once again became champions when they won the WWE Tag Team Championship in 2025. However, Dawkins and Ford have not been featured prominently on Friday Night SmackDown since losing the gold to The Wyatt Sicks in the summer of 2025. With their current absence, it would make sense for Street Profits to return and dethrone The Usos for the World Tag Team Championship to replace them atop the Raw tag scene. ***Click the next page button below for more*** ## 2. The Vision (Logan Paul & Austin Theory) ![](https://cdn.wrestletalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/The-Vision-Bronson-Reed-Austin-Theory-Logan-Paul-Paul-Heyman-December-30.jpg) The Vision has been the most dominant group in all of WWE today on Monday Night Raw since forming after WrestleMania 41. While the stable has been represented by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed in the past, it seems like a new duo has stepped up to bring some more notoriety to this faction. As of late, fans have seen Austin Theory and Logan Paul form a partnership under The Vision’s banner that could lead to them taking over the Raw tag team scene. Paul and Theory defeating The Usos could see The Vision bringing some much needed gold to their ranks and putting a much bigger spotlight for the stable. ***Click the next page button below for more*** ## 1. Rey Mysterio & Penta ![](https://cdn.wrestletalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Penta-Rey-Mysterio-December-30-b.jpg) Recently, Rey Mysterio has gained some help from Penta as he has been dealing with The Vision. The two luchadors could become the next great tag team on WWE TV if they choose to become a permanent duo. While they are busy right now dealing with The Vision, fans should see Mysterio and Penta become contenders for the World Tag Team Championship. Mysterio and Penta feel like they have all the makings of being a popular duo that could overcome The Usos to become champions on WWE Raw.
