WWE
WWE’s next PLE, Money in the Bank, takes place on Saturday 7 June and the card is now beginning to take shape.
Alongside the guaranteed men’s and women’s ladder matches, there is set to be a star-studded tag bout between Undisputed Champion John Cena and Logan Paul against WWE Champion Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes, as well as a heated Women’s Intercontinental Title clash between fierce rivals Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch.
As well as more bouts, surprise returns are all but guaranteed, especially with a two-night SummerSlam coming in August.
Here are six WWE stars who could make their return at Money in the Bank.
6. Asuka
Asuka has been out of action since Backlash 2024, recovering from a serious knee injury.
Her Kabuki Warriors tag partner, Kairi Sane made her own return to WWE programming recently on Raw.
On the 26 May Raw, Sane defeated one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan – setting up a possible title match.
Could Money in the Bank be the moment Asuka makes her highly-anticipated return to reunite with Sane and chase tag team gold?
