The WWE Royal Rumble 2025 event may be among the most anticipated PLEs for the company in recent memory.
The men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches still have numerous spots to be filled with half of the field not announced for both.
From new entrants in the Rumble to more matches to be added, there are more changes that can be made ahead of the February 1 event.
Here are six potential changes to WWE Royal Rumble 2025.
6. Lyra Valkyria vs. Ivy Nile For The WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Added To The Card

On the January 27 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix, Lyra Valkyria revealed that she will be entering the 2025 women’s Royal Rumble match.
Joining in the bout, American Made’s Ivy Nile interrupted this interview to inform Valkyria that she was coming for her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Before Nile goes after the gold, she will also be entering the women’s Rumble with the intention of eliminating Lyra.
However, WWE could further bolster the card by adding Lyra vs. Ivy for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to the lineup in its own right, with them still both appearing in the Rumble match as well.
