With the WWE Royal Rumble coming up this weekend, one of the most talked about topics every year is potential NXT surprise entrants.

We tend to get NXT surprises most years, and the hype this time around is no different, with a number of NXT talents emerging as top candidates for a Rumble showcase moment.

Here are nine NXT stars who could be surprise entrants in the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble matches.

9. Oba Femi

You can’t talk a out potential NXT surprises in the Royal Rumble without mentioning the current NXT Champion, which at the moment, is Oba Femi.

While everyone would love to see Femi in the Rumble, there is one drawback…

Unless he’s winning the thing, which he 99.9% surely isn’t, he’d have to be eliminated by someone, and there’s a good argument that he shouldn’t be made to look second-best to anyone under any circumstance.

So while it would be fun, because it’s fun seeing Oba Femi anywhere, it perhaps wouldn’t be the most practical option this time around.
