WWE
Being a surprise entrant in the WWE Royal Rumble is almost guaranteed to get a star one of the biggest pops of their careers.
Whether it be returning from injury or coming back to the company from a lengthy absence, some of the most exciting and noteworthy moments in the history of the event have been thanks to these surprises in the Rumble.
With the upcoming PLE taking place from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, WWE Royal Rumble 2026 should see some more surprise entrants that could impact that match and the rest of the year for the company.
Here are ten potential WWE Royal Rumble 2026 surprise entrants.
10. Rey Mysterio

Ahead of WWE WrestleMania 41, Rey Mysterio suffered a torn groin injury during a match on Friday Night SmackDown.
This caused the WWE Hall of Famer to be pulled from his scheduled match against El Grande Americano at Mania and he’s been sidelined for the past six months at the time of this writing.
Recent reports have indicated that Mysterio could be on his way back soon after his recent physical interactions with The Judgment Day at the WWE & AAA Worlds Collide event.
Wanting to recover fully at the age of 50, Mysterio could wait until next January to make his grand return for one final run at WWE Royal Rumble 2026 in the titular bout.
