2. Mystery Main Roster Stars To Fight For WWE NXT Championship?

Main roster stars appearing on WWE NXT TV is certainly nothing new under the Triple H creative regime, but this latest development certainly has our interest piqued more than usual.

On this week’s WWE NXT, General Manager Ava spoke on the phone and confirmed that she had talked to Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis and had confirmed plans for Roxanne Perez’s next challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground.

The identity of the mystery challenger(s) is set to be revealed on next week’s episode (May 28), however the fact that she spoke to both Raw and SmackDown’s GM’s suggests that a three-way could be coming.

Both brands are stacked with female talent that are currently not featured consistently, many of which have had prior success in NXT, so there’s certainly no shortage of possibilities.
