With Rusev (Miro) being the latest star to reportedly make the jump from AEW back to WWE, there will need to be plans in place for his return.
While fans are already anticipating seeing the latest iteration of the beloved Bulgarian star back in WWE, it remains to be seen exactly how his character will play out.
Here are five potential plans for Rusev now that he is reportedly returning to WWE.
5. Feud With John Cena
Cast your mind back 10 years – it is 2015 WWE and John Cena is in a months-long feud with Rusev.
They would tangle again in 2017 during a notable ‘Flag Match’ which would mark their last showdown.
With Drew McIntyre also teasing past backstage beef with Cena from the locker room, Rusev could wage similar claims in storyline to give a motive to his current hatred.
Times were very different then and it would be incredible to see what the pair could do now.
