6 Changes To WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event WWE

On January 25, WWE will hold the second Saturday Night’s Main Event since the show’s return in December.

This show should have some ramifications for the upcoming Royal Rumble premium live event on February 1.

With the event approaching, the company still has time to make some changes to the card and matches already announced.

Here are six potential changes to WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

6. Amendment To Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens Ladder Match At Royal Rumble Revealed

On the January 17 edition of SmackDown, GM Nick Aldis announced that Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens will have their contract signing for the Ladder Match at Royal Rumble 2025 at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Teasing an amendment to the contract on last week’s broadcast, it is likely this will be revealed during this segment.

With Shawn Michaels serving as the moderator for the contract signing, it will be interesting to see how he works in this contract signing based on their current storyline. However, the amendment being revealed will be the most noteworthy moment of the contract signing.

Whether it be both titles being retrieved or this being their final match, fans will get a glimpse at what is next for Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens following the Royal Rumble 2025 event.
